New massage license law in Colorado

In Colorado we have a new massage licensing law, which just took effect April 1. It was approved last year, so most of us knew it was coming. It’s a real hassle, because you have to get fingerprinted if you don’t have a national certification exam. I like the summary at www.ColoradoMassageLaw.com because it doesn’t hide the fact that massage schools and certification bodies are going to make a killing thanks to this new law.

Some web sites are already mentioning that they comply with the law, which means compliance is seen as a marketing benefit.

Massage Anywhere

MassageAnywhere.com is a listing site. I like it and also I don’t like it. There are too many entries that stretch massage farther into the metaphycial than I like. I suppose it is a preference, but when you are listed alongside typesof people, you become associated with them even if “only” in the eyes of the massage consumer.
